Awareness Campaign on Drug Abuse Conducted in Central Darfur, Nyala

In response to the alarming rise in drug use and trafficking across the country, the Ray of Thought, Visions and Sustainable Development Organization, in collaboration with the youth of Al‑Muhafizeen neighborhood in Central Darfur State, organized a community awareness campaign addressing the growing spread of narcotics and psychoactive substances. The event took place in Wadi Arebo and aimed to educate young people about the dangers of drug abuse while encouraging them to embrace positive contributions to society and safeguard their mental and emotional well‑being.

The campaign featured interactive discussions, musical performances, and youth‑led interventions that helped deliver the message in an engaging and accessible manner. Participants emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in combating drug abuse and highlighted the role of families, communities, and youth groups in creating a healthy and resilient society.
